live simple

Being able to live simple will most likely be more important in the future than we may think now. Some key words are extreme weather, global heating, peak oil, unfair (to the poor countries) trading regulations, pollution of air, earth and water, you name it. This earth is slowly sinking into a pit of ugly sins. On this page, I am sharing some thoughts about the issue. (October 2009)

I am a proud owner of the original OSC Manifesto, and it hangs on the wall in my home studio!

This poster is a part of the original and inspired OSC Manifesto. OSC was the company that created the first harddisk multitrack audio recorder and mixer (Deck) for the Macintosh. Deck was later adopted by Digidesign and developed into what finally became ProTools. As you can see from the listing of my studio equipment and instruments (in the studio section), I havn't followed the rule of thinking small and simple... Still, I believe in the principle, and who knows, one day Imay sell most of my equipment and return to my roots - where only a few, real (physical) instruments and a simple tape recorder were my only tools :)
